Shorttakes

We're finally getting to stitch again!!  Truly didn't think it would be this long, but as they say, "Life happens".

Anyway, here are all the details!

 

 

DATES:

Saturday, November 4th, 9-5 at the Chadds Ford Barn

Sunday, November 5th 9-2.

 

AGENDA: STITCH!!!  That's it!

 

DRESS: Please wear clothes.  Comfort is the only requirement!

 

COST: $50.00

 

 

Saturday is at the Barn at the Chadds Ford Historical Society.  The street address is 1736 N. Creek Road, Chadds Ford, PA  19317.  From the shop, you would go north on 202 about a mile & a half to the intersection of Rt 1 & Rt 202.  Turn left (south) onto Rt 1.  Go about 4 1/2 miles to the 3rd stoplight.  This will be Street Rd (also, Rt 100).  You will see Hanks Diner ahead on the right & a Sunoco station ahead on the left.  You want to turn right here.  Go less than 1/2 mile.  You will see the Barn on your left.  Turn in & follow the drive around to the back.  You can come right on in the back door & up the stairs.

 

Remember, we have access to the kitchen area, so you can bring drinks, snacks, sandwiches...whatever you like...with you.  You are on your own for meals, but many of us just bring hoagies or soup or anything from Wawa & hang at the Barn.  You are more than welcome to go out & grab a bite as well!  NO RULES!

 

Sunday is also at the Barn.  At some point, if there are folks who wish, we will go over to the shop as well!  Otherwise, we'll just hang out & stitch.

 

 

Other bits & pieces:

* We will have lights there, but if you have a light, feel free to bring it with you ~ we have plenty of extension cords to hook you up!

* If you want, feel free to bring a cushion to sit on ~ the chairs are padded, but sometimes it's nice to have a little more!!!

* Bring your sense of humor ~ we laugh A LOT!!!
