Opening Day update!
Well, once again, fate (life, stuff...) has conspired to throw a wrench in the system here at TSS.
Between Beth messing up the timing of a huge order (& then submitting a smaller one....which confused EVERYONE), then another family medical event that required me to be away from the shop for several days....all the goodies that we hoped to have here for our Opening Day fun sale are "in transit".
I swear, I am getting dangerously close to not planning things in advance! Now that doesn't work in the real world because HELLO (!) we need to be able to plan our days! Fortunately, the family medical issue worked out fine, but boy did it eat up 2 days with travel & worry. Which I'm gonna guess contributed to my complete brain freeze in organizing our Market orders in conjunction with our regular restocking orders! I have figured out where I blanked out, but that doesn't help with getting things in for this weekend!
SOOOOO.....we are gonna postpone the Opening Day sale that was scheduled for Sunday March 29th.
I hate to disappoint y'all, but I hate even more that all the goodies ~ new & returning ~ aren't here. I mean, THAT'S no fun!
So, hang tight & we will have another fun sale day! Maybe a Pajama Party ~ we haven't done that in a long time!
In the meantime, some good news about framing! My local frame guy has given me a list of frames from our longtime friend ~ Huneywood Frames ~ that East Side has picked up. So our framing section looks better! We're still adding more to make up for losing some of the Huneywood frames ~ particularly in the black & also the silvers & golds. But we're happy to know that a lot of our favorite Huneywood frames are still gonna be available.
Okay, I'm gonna send this quickie note out. Yes I am working on a "real" newsletter (did you just say to yourself, "Yeah sure Beth. That's what you keep saying"? Because that's what I am saying to myself!).
Also, just a huge thank you to everyone who has sent me hugs & kind thoughts, cards & notes about my pup Charlee. I miss her so very much, but saying goodbye to a pup is part of the price of loving them so very much. Your kind words & hugs are a balm that is helping me get thru to the next day.
Hugs & stitches ~
