UPDATE:
It is Super Bowl Sunday morning & this is an update from our weather desk! Stitchers, it is BRUTALLY cold outside. Even the gal on KYW this morning was saying, "just stay inside with warm cocoa".
Now, I am not going to discourage you from participating in our fun day, but...IF YOU COME OUT, please dress warmly. Also remember you can order online & just add a note in the comments that you will pick up your order.

Because it is so cold & some of y'all may choose to stay warm & cozy, we're going to add a little something to today's fun.

SUPER (?) BOWL
Well, this is not the Super Bowl that all Eagles fans envisioned at the beginning of the season! But what's that saying? You can't win 'em all (or, even play every year). And combined with that, it is shaping up to be another FRIGID day here ~ the high is forecasted to be in the teens, but the wind chill is saying single digits OR BELOW! WHAT???
In addition to that, due to my latest round of playing "hospital/ICU/rehab/terminal diagnosis for my dog/mom home on home health visits", the shop is woefully underfilled! The fabric room looks like a grocery store before the last big storm 2 weeks ago ~ bare bones!
So! We have been talking about what we did the last time we got SNOWED out on a Super Bowl (& SUPER grateful that is not the case this time!). What on earth does that mean for you, you're wondering.
First of all, we will be here on Sunday Feb 8th from 11-2. Everything will be 20% off. Just like normal. BUT. Because I really feel like "I" have failed to get us where we need to be, we are gonna have a Post Super Bowl Sale / Phillies Opening Day celebration Sale on MARCH 29TH!
As you know, I am a little bit of a baseball aficianado & this off-season in particular I have been counting down the days until Pitchers & Catchers report (Feb 11), Spring Training games start (Feb 21) & Opening Day (Mar 26 ~ which, I'm sorry, is way too early, but that's a rant for another day). I try hard not to let myself fall into the trap of "well, things will be better as soon as....", but I gotta say, things WILL be a little better once there are baseball games to watch. It sounds crazy, I know. I know everyone has their "thing" ~ whether it's working in the garden, or running, or stitching, or even watching baseball ~ that is a comfort or just a time when you can shut off your brain & be focused on something else just for a time. Often those things can be an everyday thing (like stitching or reading or <shudder> running. But other things require a certain time & place.
So, to recap here because I know I can put a lot of words in too little space:
