Greetings Stitchers,
My - oh my, OH MY! It has been much too long. When last we "spoke" Beth was filling in for me. I was home in bed with bronchitis. It was awful. After watching "the boys" and doing the newsletter, while I was down and out.....Beth ended up getting the bronchial bug too. In fact...we got hit pretty hard here. Nancy left for Montana for the arrival of GrandBaby #6 on her 2nd round of antibiotics and an awful cough. Wow...thinking back on it, we had a really rough April and May. The good news....we all seem to be doing better, or as they say, "as good as it gets" We'll take that. There's been much going on to catch up on!
Nancy and Elvin made it Montana in time for the arrival of Indyana Mae. She is a sweet, darling little girl. After 21 hours of labor...Mom, Erin..Dad, Ryan....and grandparents were might relieved to see her! Also in Montana is Grandbaby #5 for Nancy and Elvin, Ezra. He is already looking like a little man! It's crazy how they grow. Nancy is gone through July with family in Montana. We miss her.....but we're so glad she's getting a chance to be with those babies.
Connie's grand-daughter, Fiona, is now rolling over and getting ready to break the boy's hearts! She is adorable with blonde hair and big blue eyes. Connie is getting ready for daughter Lauren's wedding. Lauren and Adam will be married June 28th in Philadelphia. We wish them the best as they begin this next venture in their lives. Be sure to pop over to Pictures of our Shop Family page to see photos.
My family FINALLY moved to our new house, beside Mom and Beth. This house has been 3 years in the making.....so actually moving in was HUGE. We still have plenty of boxes....but hey...I'm starting to get used to them. We are enjoying mornings on the deck...watching the doggies run around...as well as the boys.

Here are my boys...Chris on the left and Jimmy on the right....they are at the "wishing well".
(They've made a lot of wishes..like TV in their room....they are starting to think all wishes don't come true...imagine that!)
We - ( Beth, Mom (Ruth Ellen) and I (Abby)) are getting ready for the Ott Family Reunion...or as it has come to be called, "The Jamboree". Carma her husband Wayne and 6 other New Zealanders will be here plus Otts from Texas, Colorado, Ohio, West Virginia and North Carolina. We will almost all be together.....over 30 people between our 2 houses. We have the blow up mattresses ready....lots of laundry soap....and we are ready for fun and family.
Now...let's go catch up with what else is going on here at the shop. Hope you are staying cool....and getting ready for summer stitching!
